BuildingPoint Canada today announced its participation in the Buildings Week virtual event, a new online-only trade show serving Canada’s construction industry. Formerly two separate events on opposite sides of the country, The Buildings Show and BUILDEX Alberta are coming together this year to provide a national platform that virtually connects more than 70,000 design, construction, and real estate professionals across Canada at Buildings Week, November 30 – December 4, 2020. Buildings Week promises to offer high-quality content, targeted networking, and new business opportunities. Registration is open and free to industry professionals.
Attendees can explore exhibits and an online marketplace to discover leading product innovations, learn about technical specifications, watch live product demonstrations, connect with clients and colleagues, and much more. “While the delivery has changed,” organizers promise, “the quality is the same.”
BuildingPoint Canada helps the building construction industry leverage constructible data, modeling, and real-time collaboration with software, field solutions, and professional services. As the country’s leading provider of Trimble construction and fabrication solutions, BuildingPoint Canada will use the event’s platform to highlight the solutions that have made Trimble the leader in construction technology, both in the field and in the office. These include:
- Trimble Layout and Scanning Solutions – BuildingPoint Canada offers a range of industry-leading software and rugged, site-ready hardware that helps construction professionals get the job done efficiently, accurately, and quickly.
- Tekla Structures – Part of BuildingPoint’s solution for concrete contractors, Tekla Structures lets you create, combine, manage, and share multi-material 3D models packed with valuable construction information.
- Trimble ProjectSight – Top-tier construction management software for builders and contractors to help manage all projects from a single-source of collaboration and information for all project stakeholders.
BuildingPoint Canada will also offer a giveaway at the event. Delegates who schedule a meeting at the virtual booth will be eligible to win a week’s rental of a Trimble RTS unit valued at $2000 CAD.
“The Buildings Show has been the highlight of our calendar for years – it’s the industry’s biggest event,” says David Davidson, general manager of BuildingPoint Canada. “While we’ll miss seeing everyone in Toronto, we’re optimistic that this virtual event will be a great way to safely meet with all our customers and partners. We’re looking forward to sharing Trimble’s latest innovations, like the game-changing X7 3D laser scanner, with the show’s attendees.”
