David Davidson is the general manager at Building Point Canada. David oversees the daily operations of the business, development of the team, the Building Point strategy, and manages the relationship with key partners.
David is a construction surveyor by trade and has been with the Cansel group of companies for over 15 years. During that time, David has held many different roles - technical sales, sales manager, regional manager and regional VP - before taking the helm at Building Point Canada. David has worked in every market across Canada, living in Toronto, Edmonton, and now back to his home city of Halifax.
David is a proud father of two, an avid hockey fan and enjoys boating with the family.
Account Executive – Constructible Technology, Western Canada
Erica Morris is an account executive at Building Point Canada based in Edmonton, Alberta. She delivers software and hardware solutions to the construction industry in Western Canada.
Erica has worked in the industry for seven years, working with other software solutions such as StruMIS and AVEVA, specifically in the steel fabrication industry in Canada. She has helped many companies with selecting the right solutions to streamline operations, save time and money in their organization.
Account Executive – Constructible Technology, Ontario Region
Angelo Papadimitrios is an account manager at Building Point Canada. Angelo works with customers to help optimize efficiencies in their daily workflows. Through a consultative approach, he leads a team of individuals ready to support your needs when it comes to SaaS and field solutions catered to the vertical construction industry.
Angelo has worked with companies of all sizes including Ellis Don, Walters, and Stubbe’s, among others. With 30 years of experience with SaaS and data solutions, Angelo helps organizations within the vertical construction industry find efficiencies through software and training.
Angelo is a sports enthusiast, avid reader, and an animal lover from Toronto.
Account Executive – Constructible Technology, Quebec and Atlantic Region
Charles Noël-Allard is an account executive at Building Point Canada, where he coordinates and leads the sales force in the province of Quebec and the Canadian Maritimes. His expertise is discovering the needs of client companies, small and large, then turning products and services into successful and efficient strategies.
Charles represents the company at different venues to empower Building Point and connect with more companies. His deep understanding of our products quickly established him as an expert in serving customer requirements. You can expect understanding and responsiveness when working with Charles. His goal is to meet client needs with effective advice toward the achievement of cost-effective and energy-saving propositions.
Charles has worked in the industrial sector for seven years, plus an additional two years in construction technology. A graduate from Université de Sherbrooke, Charles also holds a diploma in International Business from HEC Montréal. He has worked with companies of all sizes, including Fastenal, Motion Canada, and Finkl Steel. Charles helps general or specialized contractors, steel fabricators, engineering firms, concrete producers, and others to increase productivity whether they require fine technology in the field, their shops, or the office.
Account Manager (West) – Project Management and Mixed Reality
Mohit Jindel is an Account Manager (West) – Project Management and Mixed Reality with BuildingPoint Canada. In this role, he works with clients across Western Canada to help them optimize their business workflows by leveraging our best in class construction layout, scanning, modeling, and project management solutions.
Mohit has a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science and has worked with companies that have brought innovative solutions to the forefront, thus helping customers become more productive and profitable.
Outside of work, Mohit enjoys riding his motorcycle, playing badminton and going on trails around Vancouver with his family.
Field Technology Account Manager
Peter Progas is a Field Technology Account Manager at BuildingPoint Canada. Peter develops field workflows, trains, and develops layout and scanning programs for companies all across BC. He provides the how-to knowledge to perform your field procedures as well as training materials and videos that target for specific challenges on construction projects.
Peter has worked across Canada in the construction field for 15-plus years doing layout for some of the largest companies and projects. He has helped streamline and eliminate errors in field workflows that give competitive advantages to companies across the country.
Outside of work, Peter stays active with his dog, camping, fishing, and playing sports around Vancouver.
Account Manager – Field Technologies, Quebec and Atlantic Region
Mark Prendergast is an Account Manager at Building Point Canada, where he develops the robotic total station market throughout the province of Quebec and Atlantic Canada. He makes sure that all construction-related businesses on the vertical side are made aware of all the advantages and opportunities that the wide range of Trimble Total Stations and scanners bring to the field. He also makes sure that the customers have the best robot and accessories for the type of projects undertaken.
Mark has worked as an entrepreneur in the construction industry on both residential and commercial projects for 10 years. He has worked in sales for over 15 years, in market development and representation. The markets developed were in kitchen renovations, insurance and warranty products in the auto and RV industry, and financing in the auto industry. He developed new markets, made others flourish, and always stayed among the top performers in his fields.
You will have someone on your side that will always put you first, makes sure they truly understand your needs, and ensures that you have the best product for the projects you want to realize. You can expect someone that will get you the answer you need and do all that is necessary to make sure you get the best service possible.
Mark is an amateur athlete. He is a skier, plays tennis, trains regularly and has completed many triathlons and a marathon. He was a volunteer volleyball instructor for the YMCA for 15 years, a ski patrol for four years at Mont St-Sauveur, andhe spent one year as a volunteer in the master’s ski team at Mont-Tremblant.
Field Technologies – Application Specialist
Jean-Philippe Simard (J-P) is an application specialist at Building Point Canada where he trains and helps the Building Point Canada customers and team members take advantage of the Trimble Buildings solutions, including software and hardware for robotic total stations and laser scanners.
J-P has over 18 years of background working with the Cansel group of companies in various roles including technical support, sales support and sales. He has conducted many training sessions and site visits for robotic layout and laser scanning applications. J-P helps the concrete formwork companies, steel fabricators and erectors and MEP companies gain productivity and reduce errors in their daily work by using the hardware solutions of the Trimble Buildings portfolio. You can expect a high level of knowledge and professionalism when collaborating with J-P.
Principle Tekla Specialist, Steel Technology
Ron Heigh is a constructible modeling & VDC specialist at Building Point Canada, where he mentors, motivates, and inspires the use of technology in design, fabrication, and construction across the diverse Canadian vertical construction industry.
Ron is a Canadian virtual design and construction leader, built on over 20 years of industry experience with detailed knowledge and expertise across the industry in: 3D modeling; drafting; fabrication and construction; project planning and execution; customer and industry association relationship building, and marketing. His motivated and proactive involvement across many facets of virtual design and construction has positively affected the strength of the industry.
Ron currently lives in Edmonton, Alberta and enjoys spending time with his family, friends, and pets. You can catch Ron volunteering with the Edmonton BIM Community and BuildingSMART Canada.
Tekla Support Specialist
Rey Ople is a Tekla support specialist at Building Point Canada, where he helps customers in Tekla Structures Software implementation, and conducts training for new, intermediate, and advanced users.
Rey started as a detailer but switched roles and became a technical support specialist. His two-decade experience with Tekla Structures honed his expertise in providing high level customer service. Prior to his current position, Rey had worked as project and structural engineer in several development and engineering design companies.
Michael Boily-Ratthé is a technology specialist at Building Point Canada, where he answers and solves users’ questions and problems, makes sure users are well trained on different software applications, and always looks to improve your workflow so you drive the best results for your organization.
Michael Boily-Ratthé has been a steel detailer at Construction Proco for most of his professional career and has a solid 14 years’ experience using and configuring Tekla Structures.
He is also known for his knowledge of C# language which can help customers to improve their daily workflow by creating custom macros, plugins, or applications. He helps users to improve their skills and develop their knowledge of Tekla suite software.
Michael is a hockey player, gamer, and Star Wars lover from Métabetchouan, Québec.
Business Administration/ Customer Service Lead
Rushikesh Kansara is a business administration/ customer service lead at Building Point, where he develops customer service and executes the operations that empower the company to reach and engage more customers all over the Canada, improving and streamlining processes and communications that help keep Building Point’s clients apprised of products and services that can improve their organization’s collaboration and efficiency.
Rushikesh (Rishi) has worked with companies of all sizes, including Loblaw Companies Ltd. and RONA Home and Garden at the management and administration levels. Rishi has professional experience in supply chain and logistic domain with a proven track record of driving sales and achieving company targets. He is a client-oriented professional who implements creative business administration strategies and customer service. You can expect a warm, quick and satisfactory response for any inquiry or concern when working with Rishi.
Rishi is a singer, cricketer, and lover of both travel and music from Canada.
Technical Specialist – Tekla Concrete Solutions
TJ Warne is a technical specialist – Tekla Concrete Solutions at Building Point Canada, where he provides technical support to customers and works with them develop innovative solutions and get the most out of their Tekla software.
TJ has over 20 years’ experience working with teams preparing layout and fabrication drawings for all types of precast concrete projects using Tekla Structures, AutoCAD, and Revit. TJ has also used Tekla Structures and Revit to produce engineering design models and construction drawing packages for masonry, steel, and concrete structures.
Marketing & Business Operations Manager
Arvin Eugenio is the marketing and business operations manager at Building Point Canada. Having worked with Tekla and Trimble for more than 15 years, Arvin is responsible for dealing with key personnel on the sales operations side to ensure smooth delivery of products and services to its Canadian customers. He is also responsible for liaising with the marketing department to execute campaigns for Building Point’s growing portfolio of hardware and software solutions for the building and construction industry.
Despite having a degree in IT, Arvin has had over 26 years’ experience in sales and marketing, beginning his career as product specialist with GlaxoSmithKline. Migrating to Canada in 2005, he joined Dowco Group as a sales associate, eventually becoming the sales & marketing manager for Dowco Technology Services. He joined Building Point in 2016. Since then, he has helped hundreds of small to large organizations across Canada implement constructible technologies such as industry-leading Tekla Structures.
Arvin is an avid traveler and has visited over 85 cities in over 33 countries. He also enjoys mountain biking, scuba diving, and playing video games in his spare time.
Account Manager (East) - Project Management and Mixed Reality
Jill Fearman is an Account Manager (East) - Project Management and Mixed Reality at Building Point Canada. In this role, she collaborates with construction professionals across Eastern Canada to increase their bottom line through cutting-edge project management solutions.
Jill comes from a background with Canada’s largest industrial supplier, working alongside both regional and national customers. Team-oriented and results-driven, Jill partners with her customers to deliver efficient workflows that position their business to stay ahead of the game whilst saving time and money.
Field Technology Account Manager – Eastern Ontario
Marty Waroway is Field Technology Account Manager in Eastern Ontario for BuildingPoint Canada. He specializes in the sales and customer support of Trimble RTS, GNSS, and Scanning equipment.
Marty graduated from the construction engineering program at George Brown College. He has worked as a site supervisor and has been in the construction sales industry for a number of years.
When he’s not working you can catch Marty playing/watching sports or travelling somewhere off the beaten path.
