 The 2025i version of Tekla® PowerFab® is now available, delivering new tools to help fabricators plan more accurately, manage projects more efficiently, and keep financial tracking connected in real time. 

Better production planning and forecasting 

The new production planner builds on improvements introduced earlier this year, adding the ability to: 

• Split work packages across multiple weeks and locations 

• Forecast further ahead by creating future work packages 

• Assign jobs to the most efficient resources with detailed, flexible machine and shop conditions 

These updates give fabricators more control over scheduling and forecasting, helping to streamline production and reduce bottlenecks. 

ProjectSight integration for project management 

Tekla PowerFab now connects directly with Trimble ProjectSight®. This integration: 

• Unifies project environments and improves data flow 

• Centralizes communication of RFIs and submittals 

• Links fabrication job data with project management workflows 

• Enables transfer of shop drawings

Stronger financial tracking with Viewpoint Vista 

The extended integration with Trimble Viewpoint® Vista™ automates financial data flow, including purchase orders, receiving details, and inventory movements. This creates: 

• Real-time, accurate job cost details for materials on active projects 

• Streamlined accounting and financial management 

The integration is available on Trimble App Xchange, making it easier to connect with both Trimble and non-Trimble tools. 

Trimble AI Assistant for in-software support 

Tekla PowerFab now includes the AI-powered Trimble Assistant, offering: 

• Instant, contextual support based on curated Tekla User Assistance articles 

• Tailored answers based on what you’re working on in the software 

• Built-in access across PowerFab Office 

This provides faster help and guidance, right inside the application.
